FlyIAA has officially launched operations at its private airport in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. By operating the runway as its own, the academy delivers highly stable training schedules, optimised sortie turnaround times, consistent student progression, and enhanced safety discipline. This development aligns with FlyIAA’s philosophy of delivering the highest standards of aviation training, while positioning the academy among a select group of international flight training organisations operating from private airport infrastructure. Facility upgrades are underway to align with FlyIAA global standards, with the first Diamond aircraft arriving soon as part of the structured fleet acquisition plan.
On 16 December, Intercontinental Aviation Enterprise participated in the Women in Aviation – Middle East General Assembly in Riyadh, announcing scholarships exceeding $150,000 to support aspiring female pilots. The initiative included ATPL and Fundamentals of Aviation program awards, highlighting IAE’s leadership in advancing inclusion, opportunity, and talent development across the aviation sector. FlyIAA UAE and SolitAir have joined forces to launch the SolitAir Mentor Programme, unveiled at Dubai Airshow 2025. This industry‑aligned initiative is designed to shape the next generation of pilots through structured mentorship, airline‑centric development, and specialised workshops. Cadets enrolled in the EASA & GCAA ICAO ATPL integrated programme will benefit from close engagement with SolitAir, performance progress reports, and potential pathways to advanced airline training and employment. The partnership sets a new benchmark for aviation talent development in the UAE.
