Intercontinental Aviation Academy UAE Announces Major UAE Expansion With New Al Ain Base Following Strategic MoU Signed at Dubai Airshow 2025

Intercontinental Aviation Academy UAE (IAA UAE), the global headquarters of the IAA network, proudly announces a major expansion of its national footprint with the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding during the Dubai Airshow 2025 with Emirates Falcon Air Strip.
This agreement establishes a secondary operational base in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, marking a new chapter of accelerated growth for our training operations in the United Arab Emirates.

Operations in Al Ain are targeted to begin in February 2026, aligned with the arrival of our brand-new Diamond Aircraft fleet, which will take to the skies in early 2026. This expansion will significantly strengthen our operational capabilities, giving IAA UAE two fully functioning training bases — RAK and Al Ain — strategically positioned to elevate our capacity, efficiency, and regional reach.

This decision comes on the heels of exceptional intake cycles across all our programs. The strong demand from aspiring pilots and the trust placed in IAA by students and families motivated us to expand and provide the best possible training environment.
With two bases, our students will enjoy a truly elevated training experience — the ability to fly, train, and navigate seamlessly between two UAE locations, enhancing operational exposure, flight diversity, and overall readiness.

The addition of Al Ain as a second training base will deliver:

As IAA continues to solidify its presence in the UAE, our global headquarters proudly reinforces its commitment to excellence, innovation, and world-class pilot development. This expansion is a reflection of our confidence in the UAE as the world’s aviation capital, and our commitment to shaping the next generation of global pilots.

IAA UAE is taking a bold new step — expanding our skies, strengthening our foundations, and delivering an unmatched aviation training experience across two powerful UAE bases.
